Lynne Poulsen And The Dreamcatchers

In 2011, I started playing with band again, and we did a series of concerts at Riverside Estates in Hout Bay. The idea was to play some tasteful covers as well as original songs with some really great musicians and have a good time doing it. Since that first concert with Neil Benjamin, Wesley Rustin and Adam Coolsaet, my “Dreamcatchers” have varied a bit, and I now choose my rhythm section from these excellent and generally very nice musicians:

Guitar: Neil Benjamin, Dave Ledbetter

We went on in 2013 to do four gigs for the Summer Concert Series at Le Petite Ferme in Franschhoek, which was very successful and generally a blast! In 2014, Dave, Romy and Kevin accompanied me at The Mahogany Room (now Straight No Chaser). It was magical and I got to play my originals and try out my new acoustic guitar. Alma Café was the next gig we did…again with Dave, Romy, and this time, Heinrich on Cajon and percussion. It was a very intimate and special show, one I will always cherish the memory of.
